What we see in these towns
Coraopolis, Sewickley, Oakdale, McDonald and McKees Rocks
These are old river and railroad towns. Most of the houses were built before 1980, and many before 1950. That means a lot of tired wood porches, front steps and decks, and houses due for paint.
Robinson Township, Imperial and Wexford
Most homes here were built from the 1970s on. That's the age when the first deck a house came with wears out, and when families want a privacy fence around a bigger yard.
Hopewell Township
Across the Ohio River in Beaver County. Many homes here were built in the 1950s and 1960s.
Permits
Every township here runs its own zoning. Robinson Township, for example, wants a zoning permit for a fence even though no building permit is needed. We look at your township's rules before work starts.
